Lawyers are on strike in most courts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur and Jodhpur High Courts. The Tonk Bar Association has also decided to remain on strike until September 6th. This decision was made by the lawyers at a meeting held on Wednesday in the court premises. Vikas Lodi, President of the Tonk Bar Association, stated that this strike is being held in protest against the way pending cases are being handled. "We fully support the strike of Jodhpur and Jaipur High Courts."
