Liquor contractors stage sit-in protest in Jaipur: Demonstration at the Excise Headquarters to fulfill more than 6 demands.

Today, liquor contractors staged a protest and held a sit-in outside the Excise Office in Jaipur. The protest was organized with several demands, including allowing liquor shops (thekas) to operate until 11 pm. Nilesh Mewara, the state president of the Raj Liquor Welfare Society, stated during this sit-in demonstration, which was organized under the banner of the society, that the government had allowed contractors who were selling liquor in March, the last month of the previous financial year (2025-26).
