This decision was made by the lawyers in a meeting held on Wednesday at the court premises. Vikas Lodi, President of the Tonk Bar Association, informed that this strike is being conducted in protest against the method of resolving pending cases quickly. Meanwhile, the lawyers' strike has now reached almost a week.
