A case has come to light in Narnaul, Mahendragarh district, where an ancient life-size statue of Baba Rameshwar Das was stolen from the famous temple located in village Brahmanwas Nau, which is situated near the Rajasthan border in the Nizampur police station area. The trustees and executive members of the trust have been accused of theft. Based on a complaint filed by Om Prakash Gupta, Vice President of Baba Rameshwar Das Trust, the Nizampur police have recovered the ancient life-size statue from the samadhi of the Baba Rameshwar Das temple.
