Husband sets wife on fire after stopping him from selling TV: 60% burned, referred to Jaipur in critical condition; a fight had occurred the day before.

A dispute arose between a husband and wife in Mithri village, Dीडवाना-Kuchaman district, on Friday regarding the sale of a TV. It is alleged that the husband, Rajveer Singh, set his wife, Chand Kanwar (35), on fire at home, causing her to suffer approximately 60 percent burns. Hearing the screams, people from the surrounding area rushed to the scene and took her to the Naawan Upazila Hospital. As her condition became critical, doctors referred her to Jaipur via a 108 ambulance. The dispute over selling the TV was related to ASI Lalchand.
