In Alwar, BJP and Congress have released tickets for 65 councilors. The BJP has given tickets to husband and wife, while the Congress has cut off the ticket for the chairman and vice-chairman.

In the Alwar Municipal Corporation elections, Congress and BJP have released lists of candidates for all 65 wards. The BJP has given tickets to a significant number of women. Among them is a husband-and-wife team (Sitaram Chaudhary and Suman Chaudhary) from Alwar city. DTO Grace Kumar from Jaipur has also filed his nomination as an independent candidate from ward 53 in Alwar. Ajay Agarwal, who had contested the election from the Alwar City Assembly constituency, has been nominated by the BJP for ward 7.
