The results of the elections for 19 municipal bodies in Jaipur district were announced on Monday. The BJP has gained a lead by winning 311 out of a total of 690 wards. Congress had to be content with 255 wards. When Bhaskar analyzed the results of the civic body elections, a different picture emerged regarding the vote counts. Across the district, Congress received 676,815 votes, while the BJP accounted for 675,929 votes. This means that Congress received 886 more votes than the BJP.
