Several disgruntled BJP aspirants, upset about not receiving tickets, have decided to contest as independent candidates against the party's nominees. Former Municipal President Manohar Singh, former Councilor Manish Kachwaha, and four-time Councilor Om Prakash Sankhla have announced their decision to enter the independent election fray after being denied a ticket.
