Free 1.1 kilowatt solar plants will be installed on 7,000 homes in the Jaipur area of India.

In the Deeg district, a major initiative is being taken under the PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme for domestic consumers who consume an average of 150 units of electricity per month. Under this scheme, eligible consumers will be provided with rooftop solar plants of 1.1 kilowatt capacity on their rooftops free of charge. For this purpose, approval letters are being obtained from the concerned consumers. Based on the approval, solar plants will be installed in selected households and they will be operated for a period of five years.
