The BJP's dominance in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation has been established once again. In the election results announced on Monday, the BJP crossed the majority mark and formed its board for the seventh consecutive time in the corporation. The first elections were held in 1994, meaning the BJP has had a board for the past 32 years. This time, the results of 146 out of 150 wards have been announced in the corporation. Of these, the BJP won 78 wards, surpassing the required 76-seat majority mark.
