Company director's WhatsApp number changed, employee defrauded of ₹7 crore: The mastermind sent the money from Singapore and Hong Kong to 250 accounts; 4 cyber fraudsters arrested.

In Jaipur, cyber fraudsters defrauded a company's accountant of ₹68 million by posing as the company's director. The accused exploited a technical flaw in the accountant's computer to gain access to WhatsApp Web. They then used the company director's name and profile photo to enter their own numbers. Subsequently, they sent fake messages to the accountant. The accused transferred this amount through RTGS from the accountant.
