Naresh Meena's health deteriorated in jail and was referred to Jaipur: Supporters said he had been experiencing chest pain for the past eight days and wanted the government to order his assassination.

Naresh Meena, who was imprisoned in Tonk Jail in the SDM slapping case, suddenly fell ill on Saturday. After a preliminary check-up at the jail, he was taken to Saadat Hospital in Tonk at 12:28 PM under tight security, where he was admitted to the ICU. Doctors conducted necessary tests on Naresh Meena. His ECG came normal. Following this, blood tests were performed. As there was no cardiologist available at the district hospital, the doctor referred him to SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
