In Rajasthan, filing cyber fraud cases has become easier, but the pace of investigation is extremely slow. In the state, 3200 cyber fraud cases were registered in 80 days, from July 23 to October 11, but the police have only been able to initiate investigations in just 3% of these cases. The e-Zero FIR limit for cyber fraud of one lakh rupees or more was implemented in the state from July 23, 2026. Previously, this limit was five lakh rupees. This has made it easier for victims to file a case.
