Municipal Corporation Election Results: EVM malfunction; re-polling tomorrow in 5 booths of wards 9, 18, 25 and 34.

During the counting of votes for the municipal corporation elections, re-polling will be conducted in 5 booths across 4 wards due to technical glitches in their EVMs. The commission has declared the voting null and void under Rule 55 of the Rajasthan Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1994, at those booths where the results could not be displayed due to technical reasons and the number of undeclared votes is more than the margin of victory for the nearest rival.
