Firefighter Pritesh Parmar's funeral with state honors: He suffered 90% burns in the chemical factory blast; his family receives ₹2 lakh in financial assistance.

Preetesh Parmar, a fire fighter from Dungarpur who suffered severe burns in the blast that occurred while trying to extinguish a fire at a chemical factory in Basni, Jodhpur, was cremated with state honors on Sunday at his ancestral village of Lambhabhatda, Chundawada. Preetesh succumbed to his injuries during treatment after suffering approximately 90 percent burns in the accident. Around 25 fire officers and a large number of employees from across the state attended his final farewell ceremony.
