A firefighter died in the Jodhpur factory blast: They had suffered up to 90 percent burns in the accident and were on a ventilator for two days.

In Jodhpur's Basni, a fire broke out at the SR Handicraft Factory. During the blaze, 14 fire brigade personnel were burned by explosions from drums filled with chemicals. Firefighter Pritesh died on Saturday morning due to burns sustained in the accident. Pritesh had been on a ventilator for two days and suffered up to 90% burns in the incident. The incident occurred when a stone fell at around 5:30 PM on Wednesday, causing an explosion in the handicraft factory located in Ganesh Nagar Shramik Colony in Basni.
