Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat became the Vice-Chancellor of Rajasthan University: New Vice-Chancellors were also appointed in Sikar and Bikaner Universities, orders issued by the Governor.

Rajasthan's three major universities have found new vice-chancellors. Governor and Chancellor Haribhau Bagde issued orders late Thursday night for the appointment of vice-chancellors at all three universities. These include Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat at Rajasthan University, Jaipur; Dr. Yudhvir Singh at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar; and Prof. Narsee Ram Vishnoi at Maharaja Gangasingh University, Bikaner.
