Rebel Congress leader arrives in Jaipur, asks how cross-voting occurred: The Hingad team demanded an investigation into why the party's board was not formed even after the majority in Pali.

The political turmoil in the Congress party in Jaipur, India, does not seem to be ending, following the rebellion and infighting that surfaced during the mayoral election in the Pali Municipal Corporation. Senior leaders who rebelled against the party and fielded Rajbala Hingar as an independent mayoral candidate have arrived in Jaipur with 29 councilors. On Friday, a five-member delegation visited the Congress state war room located behind SMS Hospital, where they met with Ram, the secretary of the state investigation committee.
