Crowds surge at Jaipur railway stations ahead of Rakhi: Passengers jostle while boarding trains; Railways also runs several Raksha Bandhan special trains.

A day before Raksha Bandhan, a massive crowd of passengers gathered at Jaipur's railway stations and bus stands on Thursday. Thousands of passengers arrived at the city's four major railway stations - Durgapura, Khatipura, Gandhinagar, and Jaipur Junction - from morning to evening to head home. The situation was such that there were even pushbacks between passengers while boarding trains. Due to the festive crowd, platforms and trains were crowded with more than usual.
