Baran: Collectorate siege over fertilizer crisis: Farmer leader Naresh Meena sits on a hunger strike; Gudha said - Collector and SP are servants of the public.

A large protest was held in Baran on Friday against the shortage and black marketing of DAP and urea fertilizers. Young farmer leader Naresh Meena, along with thousands of farmers and supporters, reached Baran from Kamkheda Balaji Dham in Jhalawar with a bike rally and surrounded the district collectorate. He announced that he would begin a hunger strike at the Baran Collectorate starting Friday. He said that the hunger strike will continue until the demand for fertilizers is met by the farmers.
