Jaipur - Tourist guide dies from stab wounds in Chhauchabaji: Amer market closed in protest of the incident; it was said that a jeep driver stabbed him after an argument.

A tourist guide in Jaipur's Amer died of stab wounds on Tuesday morning. As soon as the news of the guide's death broke, locals protested against the incident and closed down the Amer market. The guide, Manish Kumar Soni (40), was undergoing treatment in the ICU at Sawai Man Singh Hospital. Manish had an argument with his driver over taking tourists to the fort by jeep. As the dispute escalated, the driver, Azam, stabbed him in the stomach.
