In Jaipur, thieves targeted the empty house of a retired colonel in the Bindayka police station area and stole gold and silver jewelry worth approximately 8 million rupees. The incident came to light on the morning of August 31 when a maid arrived at the house. Upon receiving information, a neighbor called the police and informed the homeowner. According to the police, Mahavir Prasad Jangid (70), a retired colonel residing in Paradise Anand Society, Sirsi Road, was robbed by his wife's relatives.
