A candle march was held in Jhunjhunu demanding the construction of a railway junction and requesting the operation of new trains to major cities across the country, including Delhi and Mumbai.

A candlelight march was held at the railway station on Friday evening to demand the expansion of rail services and grant Jhunjhunu the status of a railway junction. A large number of city residents participated in this march, which was organized under the Jan Sangharsh Abhiyan (People's Struggle Campaign) of the Shekhawati Rail Vikas Sangharsh Samiti (Shekhawati Railway Development Struggle Committee). The program was conducted peacefully at 7 pm. Committee President Pradeep Agarwal said that Jhunjhunu has been demanding the expansion of rail facilities for a long time.
