The ACB raided the house of a corrupt assistant engineer and found ₹43 lakh in cash. They also recovered 20 kg of silver. He was arrested for taking a bribe of ₹30,000.

On Monday, the Bharatpur ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) took action in Bhusawar Panchayat Samiti and arrested Assistant Engineer (AEN) Govind Prasad red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹30,000. The AEN had demanded a bribe of ₹30,000 at the rate of 2% for signing on the Sarpanch's measurement book and for payment of development works. After the arrest, the ACB searched his house, from where they recovered ₹43 lakh 38 thousand 500 in cash and approximately 20 kg of silver bars.
