During the nomination process for the Jaipur Municipal Corporation mayoral post on Saturday, Firoza Bano, the sole winning councilor from AIMIM, was unable to file her nomination. Firoza Bano, who won by a margin of approximately 2,000 votes from Ward 146, alleged that despite reaching the municipal corporation headquarters on time and filling out the form, the administration did not accept her nomination. Firoza Bano, along with her son and AIMIM state vice president, arrived at the municipal corporation headquarters in Lal Kothi.
