In Sikar, Congress gave tickets to husband and wife, father-in-law and daughter-in-law. The BJP fielded the grandson of a former MLA. In Jhunjhunu, the BJP did not field candidates in 19 wards.

The Congress and BJP have released the first list of councilor candidates for the Nagaur Municipal Council. The names of candidates from 49 out of 60 wards have been announced by the Congress, and 46 wards by the BJP. The Congress has withdrawn former chairman Mangilal Bhati's ticket from ward number 10 and nominated his nephew and former chairman Kriparam Solanki's son, Praveen Solanki, as the candidate. This has led to a political clash between the uncle-nephew in the ward.
