Following the voting in the Rajasthan civic body elections, the BJP and Congress began campaigning for their respective candidates. In Udaipur, the BJP summoned all 80 of its candidates to a hotel located on 100 Feet Road in the city. The councilor candidates arrived with suitcases and bags. After some time, feedback was gathered from all the candidates during the meeting, and then they were seated on buses and sent off. Everyone was taken away in two buses to campaign far beyond Udaipur.
