Following the results of the municipal corporation elections in Ajmer, with 80 wards declared, political activity has intensified regarding the mayoral position. The Congress party emerged as the largest party with 37 councilors, while the BJP secured 32 and 11 independent councilors were elected. After nearly 36 years, the Congress is poised to form a board in the Ajmer Municipal Corporation. However, to win the mayoral election, the Congress will also need the support of independent councilors.
