In the Jaipur Municipal Corporation, BJP has won 78 out of 150 seats. Following their majority, leaders have started lobbying for the positions of Mayor and Deputy Mayor. The most prominent discussion in Jaipur is about getting a Vaishya community member to become the Mayor. Meanwhile, Brahmin and Rajput leaders are engaged in lobbying for the Deputy Mayor position. Additionally, the party may also appoint a Deputy Mayor from among the original OBCs. Opinion polls have been conducted even with BJP councilors who are confined to their wards regarding this matter.
