In Jalore, a leopard died after getting caught in iron wires installed around the field for crop protection. It struggled to get free from the wires for hours after becoming entangled in them, sometimes jumping and roaring loudly. The villagers in the surrounding area were terrified by its sound. They informed the forest department, and a rescue team was called from Jodhpur to save the leopard, but it died before the team could arrive.
