Devotees thronged Motidungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur to receive Mehndi (henna): People arrived from other cities after seeing social media reels; the system was disrupted by pushing and shoving.

A large number of people reached the Motidungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur on Sunday to receive Mehndi (henna) for Sinjara. The crowd that gathered at the temple to get Mehndi resulted in a situation of jostling and pushing in several places. In social media share reels, it was claimed that applying Mehndi to the temple leads to the marriage of unmarried boys and girls. Following this, people from Jaipur as well as different cities across the country started arriving on Saturday night itself.
