The High Court has stated that the appointment of a Rate Chairman should be made within three weeks; otherwise, the DoP Secretary must appear before them. It was noted that members were appointed even after strict measures in the past.

The High Court has once again expressed its displeasure with the state government over the long-standing vacant post of Chairman in the Rajasthan Civil Service Appellate Tribunal (RET). A division bench comprising Justices Indrajit Singh and Sandeep Taneja stated that the government should make a permanent appointment to the RET chairman's position within three weeks, or else the DoP Secretary must appear in person with an explanation. The order was passed by the bench after hearing lawyers Dilip Singh Kurka, Sandeep Kalwaniya, and others.
