Guar seed jumps in price due to fear of reduced yield, sugar becomes cheaper

Jaipur Mandi: Amidst concerns of a decline in production during the Kharif season, guar seed and gum strengthened by Rs. 150 per quintal on Wednesday due to an increase in prices in futures contracts. Meanwhile, sugar became even cheaper by Rs. 50 per quintal as stockists continued their selling spree. Mustard crude oil remained soft at Rs. 50 per quintal due to weak demand at high prices.
