In Jaipur, India, a young man died on October 5th, 15 days after falling ill in police custody. On October 6th, the post-mortem of the deceased, Rituraj Lohar (19), was conducted at SMS Hospital. During this time, Rituraj's father, Prakash, stated that a CT scan revealed that Rituraj's death was due to a head injury. He had gone into a coma due to internal bleeding in his head. Prakash added that he had been falsely accused of stealing gold.
