Police crackdown on former NSG commando's properties: a house worth 9.3 million rupees was seized after being caught with opium by the police two months ago.

The Jodhpur Police Commissionerate's former district police have taken a major action against illegal drug smuggling, freezing the assets of Ratan Singh Jat, a former NSG commando and opium smuggler, worth approximately two crore rupees. This action was taken by Mandor and Banad police stations under the Nashamukt Abhiyan (drug-free campaign) being conducted by the Police Headquarters in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The competent authority has initiated proceedings against the accused under Section 68F2 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
