The case of a government secretariat employee being challaned and subsequently arrested on charges of breach of peace has escalated. Angered by this action of the Bajaj Nagar police station, secretariat employees staged a sit-in protest in the secretariat premises on Tuesday. Following a day-long protest, police officials took action and suspended Constable Kishan Singh of Bajaj Nagar Police Station, while Constable Rajesh was sent to line duty.
