In Ajmer's Garhi Maliyan, furniture businessman Ashok Sharma (59) committed suicide late Saturday night by consuming poison with his wife and daughter. At the time of the incident, his son Gaurav was sleeping in another room, while his wife had gone to her parents' home. Before consuming the poison, he called his nephew's wife and said goodbye, saying that they would not speak anymore. Relatives of the businessman claim that he had debts worth lakhs upon him. It is suspected that this led him to commit suicide with his wife, Indra Sharma.
