Public hospital surgeries double in 5 years, govt cites efforts put into upgradation

MUMBAI: The number of surgeries in government hospitals across the state has almost doubled in the last few years, from 3,45,000 in 2020-21 to 6,50,00 in 2024-25 (see graphic)
