Assistant Sub Inspector Satpal Singh, aged 50, was found hanging at his government residence in Chandigarh. He had returned home alone after finishing his shift on Tuesday afternoon. Family members were attending a wedding when they became concerned and called neighbors for help. Upon breaking open the door, police found him and declared him dead at the hospital.
